Sam Sanchez [Salt Lake City, UT]
I am an aspiring audio engineer passionate about creating immersive soundscapes. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Digital Audio at Utah Valley University. Through these courses, I am honing my recording, mixing, and audio production skills. I love learning about the many details involved with sound, and I love bringing technical accuracy and creativity to all works and projects I come across.
While audio involving music is my main passion, I also find other areas of audio to be interesting as well. You can find me learning more about cinema sound, game sound, and radio/TV sound for inspiration. I enjoy learning about new technologies in the industry and finding new techniques from peers and mentors to incorporate innovative techniques into my work. I aim to improve every project I can get involved in, deliver high-quality audio experiences, and explore an ever-growing landscape in audio.

I earned my Associate's degree in Pre-Engineering for Computer Engineering. The program involved learning the foundations of engineering principles such as programming, electronics, and signal processing. Using this technical background, I can bring a unique perspective by integrating my computer engineering skills into my digital audio skills.
