BANG! - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Fan OP (Steel Ball Run)
Recording & Mix Engineer
"BANG!" is a fan-made (soon to be animated) opening for the show JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run, led by one of my best friends Jacob Davis, featuring an original song and visuals inspired by the manga. With over 90+ audio tracks, this has been my largest recording and mixing project I have done.
Bend, Oregon - Ivy Avenue
Recording & Mix Engineer
As a good friend of the band's drummer, I was thrilled when Ivy Avenue reached out to have me record and mix this song. I focused on capturing the energy and fullness by expressing the vocals to deepen the atmosphere around the song. All instruments recorded and mixed by me.
Weird Fishes - Sarah & Friends
Recording & Mix Engineer
One of my first recording projects, this cover was a collaboration with another group of friends who wanted to recreate the song with their own touch. I handled the recording and mixing, focusing on capturing the layers of each instrument to try to recreate the expression of the original.
Know When to Walk Away - Jay Clifford
Re-Mix Engineer
(Recordings from ProMixAcademy)
For this song I wanted to focus on enhancing the song's dynamic contrast and clarity, I wanted to test my skills, dive deeper into making conscious decisions in my mixes, and explore more with different reverbs and other effects.
Dreamin - Robinson Park
Re-Mix Engineer
(Recordings from ProMixAcademy)
A mix between artificial and electric instruments and acoustic instruments, this was another mix to get used to experimenting with new features and balancing multiple instruments in new ways.
Fade Away - Runaway Kids
Re-Mix Engineer
(Recordings from ProMixAcademy)
A much harder and "punkier" song, this was a really good insight to another new genre to mix. Learning to mix so many elements that contain a lot of the same frequency content to make sure everything has its' spot
Of This I'm Sure - Morgan Mallory
Re-Mix Engineer
(Recordings from ProMixAcademy)
This song strikes a balance between a relaxed feel and dynamic energy. Hearing a well-written song with a gradual build throughout the composition inspired the challenge of bringing emotion through softness and energy upon impact.
